According to Inpres records, the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 14 kilometers from Las Cuevas.

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake was recorded early Tuesday morning in Mendoza , the 13th . The epicenter occurred around 6 a.m. in the west of the province.

According to data from the National Institute for Seismic Prevention ( INPRES ), the epicenter was located 14 kilometers northeast of Las Cuevas and 57 kilometers west of Uspallata at a depth of 115 kilometers.

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the southwestern region of Santa Cruz province on Monday night, activating all emergency protocols. As a precautionary measure, the provincial government decided to evacuate personnel working inside the Yacimientos Carboníferos Río Turbio (YCRT) mine and ordered the suspension of classes throughout the area until Tuesday.

According to the official report from the National Institute for Seismic Prevention (INPRES), the earthquake, which occurred at 9:47 p.m., had its epicenter approximately 7 kilometers northeast of Río Turbio and 127 kilometers south of El Calafate, with a depth of 19 kilometers.
